At Indiana University Health Goshen Wound Center, we surround you with a multidisciplinary team of wound care specialists, advanced therapies and all the support you need in our new, state-of-the-art facility. Our integrated approach not only focuses on the physical aspect of your condition, but takes into consideration that those who suffer from chronic wounds are also impacted by decreased mobility, an inability to work and an increased dependency on others.

Individualized Care For Many Conditions
Our compassionate physicians work one-on-one with you to develop a personalized treatment plan. We treat a wide range of non-healing wounds associated with complications from diabetes, vascular disorders and trauma, including:
• Soft tissue radionecrosis
• Venous ulcers
• Diabetic foot ulcers
• Pressure ulcers (bed sores)
• Brown recluse spider bites
• Lower extremity arterial disease ulcers
• Radiation-induced hemorrhagic cystitis
• Radiation proctitis/enteritis
• Compromised skin grafts and flap

Leading-Edge, Effective Treatments
To begin your path to healing, you’ll first undergo a thorough diagnostic examination and medical history review to identify your wound type, its severity and the underlying cause. Then, your wound will be treated with advanced, proven techniques to facilitate the healing process. In fact, we’re the only program in the area to offer hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), one of the most effective treatments for non-healing wounds. To better serve your needs, we also offer:

A Team Of Highly Skilled Experts
At Indiana University Health Goshen Wound Center, we’re dedicated to helping you achieve the best possible outcome for your condition, while addressing any fears or concerns. Beyond treating the wound itself, our staff is focused on educating you and your caregivers on methods of proper wound care, as well as lifestyle changes that could accelerate healing and prevent recurrences. In addition, our doctors, nurses and technicians are specially trained in the latest treatments and technology available for wound care, and include board-certified surgeons, Dr. Norbert Schwer as medical director, Dr. Kevin Gerig, Dr. John Martens and Dr. Nathaniel Dew. Additional members of our panel of experts include: Dr. Sean Henning, Podiatrist, Dr. Tim Quist, Podiatrist, Dr. Tim Nush, Family Physician, Dr. John Larson, Family Physician, Dr. Randall Cooper, Podiatrist and Dr. Anna Ballard, Podiatrist. As leaders in their field, these physicians have years of experience in treating non-healing wounds.
