Nathaniel T. Dew, MD, FACS

General Surgeon

Providing quality care to his patients is a top priority for Dr. Nathaniel Dew. A board-certified surgeon, Dr. Dew has received advanced training in general and vascular surgery, allowing him to perform a wide range of surgical procedures. As a general surgeon, Dr. Dew is uniquely qualified to diagnose problems and recommend the most appropriate therapy, which may or may not include surgery. Instead, he may prescribe preventive steps to help patients maintain a healthy, active lifestyle without surgical intervention. If surgery is needed, Dr. Dew incorporates the most advanced techniques and approaches available, such as endoscopy and laparascopy, to help improve outcomes while reducing stress on the patient.
Dr. Dew received his Bachelor of Arts from Taylor University in Upland, Ind., and his Doctor of Medicine from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. Following graduation, he completed his internship and residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. He then joined Gerig Surgical Associates, P.C., which serves Indiana University Health Goshen and specializes in minimally invasive surgery of the chest, abdomen, pelvis, vascular system and endocrine system, as well as wounds.
